The Digital Logistics Award was presented yesterday for the 7th time. As part of the “Zukunftskongress Logistik – 42nd Dortmunder Gespräche” and the “AI24”, the 6 finalists were given the opportunity to present their diverse and innovative logistics solutions to the audience in a five-minute elevator pitch. The audience and expert jury then voted for their favorites. The award ceremony for the Digital Logistics Award took place during the evening event organized by the Dortmund Economic Development Agency in the halls of the “Phoenix des Lumières” art exhibition.

About the Digital Logistics Award

The Digital Logistics Award is organized by the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund and is one of the most highly endowed awards in the logistics start-up scene with prize money totalling 14,500 euros. “We are delighted that the 7th edition of the Digital Logistics Award once again received numerous high-quality applications. For the first time, the focus was on artificial intelligence, which means that every business idea had to have a clear connection to this forward-looking area. We were impressed by the exciting pitches on site and I would like to congratulate all the winners,” says Maria Beck, Hub Manager of the Digital Hub Logistics in Dortmund.

With the award, the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund aims to recognize, reward and promote creative business solutions for digital working environments in logistics. This year, the award was embedded for the first time in the AI24 conference, which is organized by the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in event cooperation with the Future Logistics Congress of the Fraunhofer IML.
