What happens when visionary ideas meet a strong community? The answer was provided by the Pitch Night 2025 under the motto “Prompting Tomorrow”. Ten outstanding start-ups presented innovative solutions in Karlsruhe that combine technological excellence with social relevance. We are particularly pleased about the success of MotionMiners GmbH, which impressed the jury and the audience with its concept and brought the coveted de:hub Award 2025 to Dortmund.
MotionMiners: Efficiency through automated process analysis
MotionMiners GmbH impresses with its unique technology for the automated analysis and optimization of manual work processes. This solution improves the efficiency of work processes while providing valuable insights into ergonomic conditions at the workplace. Sascha Kaczmarek, co-founder and CEO of MotionMiners, impressively presented the company’s mission: “We want to sustainably increase efficiency in the workplace through artificial intelligence and improve human working conditions at the same time.”
Top-class ideas and prominent support
The event, organized by the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, provided an inspiring platform for start-ups, investors and industry experts. In his opening speech, Federal Minister of Economics Dr. Robert Habeck underlined the importance of entrepreneurial courage: “Entrepreneurial courage today means much more than just successfully launching your own company on the market. It is an attitude that you all embody here.”
The AI Award goes to Darmstadt
In addition to the MotionMiners, Code Intelligence GmbH from the Digital Hub Cybersecurity Darmstadt also impressed the judges. The company was presented with the inaugural AI Award 2025, which recognized its innovative contributions in the field of artificially intelligent software security testing.
