Hub as a catalyst for change on #diwodo19
More than 130 participants at seven different event formats: This is the top result of the Digital Hub Logistics’ participation in this year’s “Digitale Woche Dortmund” (English: Digital Week) – #diwodo19 in short. Through cooperation with the “Innovation Laboratory Hybrid Services in Logistics”, “Digital in NRW – Competence for SMEs” or the “Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML”, the hub was able to offer a varied programme for founders, entrepreneurs, scientists and the interested public. These included, for example, a “Pen and Paper Hackathon” at the trade fair stand in the German Football Museum in Dortmund or a qualification programme on the subject of Smart Factory. Within the scope of various lab tours, the participants were able to get an idea of how logistics in particular is becoming a driving force for change. “Events such as the Digital Week make it clear what opportunities our innovation ecosystem offers companies that want to drive digital transformation forward,” says Hub Manager Maria Beck, pleased with the positive response.
The “Digitale Woche” is an offer of the “Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund” (English: Business Promotion). It takes place annually, 2019 already for the third time. The date for the next #diwodo has already been set: it is November 2 to 6, 2020.
