Digital Logistics Award 2024: Finalists announced

On August 16, the expert jury met to deliberate on the Digital Logistics Award 2024 call for entries. Out of all applications six promising start-ups made it to the final. What makes this special is the fact that the three winners will be determined by an expert audience consisting of over 500 participants from the logistics industry. Each of these finalists will be given the opportunity to present a five-minute pitch at the Zukunftskongress Logistik, thus introducing both themselves and their innovative idea.

 

These six start-ups made it to the final this year:


S2data GmbH
S2data GmbH offers a software for optimized procurement and distribution logistics. They leverage synergies through smart FTLs, LTLs, milk runs, and matching inbound and outbound transports, in conjunction with smart consolidation between sources and sinks of cargo space and orders.

toern GmbH
toern offers an all-in-one SaaS solution for return management which includes a wide range of services for online shops. The solution enables returned items to be sent directly to the next customer, reducing CO2 emissions and return costs and covers all components in the entire process along the custormer journey in one package.

Green Convenience
Green Convenience offers AI-based delivery and pick-up by enabling logistics systems to automatically produce only successfull first delivery attempts. With their solution they improve automatic route planning and executing deliveries while simultaneously determining transport costs and emissions.

Logistikbude
Logistikbude provides software solutions for managing reusable load carriers like pallets, containers, and racks. Their platform automates and streamlines tracking, inventory management, and coordination processes, reducing personnel costs and increasing transparency and efficiency in logistics operations.

Muvn
Muvn connects senders with drivers who have unused space in their vehicles to optimize transport efficiency. Their app allows senders to save costs and drivers to earn money by utilizing available vehicle space, promoting a more sustainable and cost-effective delivery method.

Holocene GmbH
Holocene provides a supply chain execution tool that enhances supply chain transparency and efficiency by centralizing and automating processes. Their platform captures and standardizes human knowledge to reduce operational costs, remove bottlenecks, and improve decision-making, ultimately increasing the capacity and agility of supply chains.

 

The final of the Digital Logistics Awards will take place on site at the Congress Centre in Dortmund on 4 September 2024 at the Zukunftskongress Logistik, where you can look forward to meeting the start-ups on site again. From 4.45pm, the six finalists will pitch and then the audience and expert jury will vote on the winners, who will then be announced at the Award Ceremony during the evening event on the same day.
